The Church is active and operational in the same purpose as it was built. Many people of the same faith feel proud to perform their marriage vows and contract in this historical building.

DARCH is housed in the recently renovated 'Old Boma' building - one of Dar es Salaam's oldest buildings. A beautifully designed poster exhibition tells the story of the city's architectural evolution, explaining the varied international influences that make its built environment so interesting. DARCH also houses temporary exhibitions and events, and offers architectural tours of Dar es Salaam covering themes like 'Colonial zones', 'Evolution of the streets', 'Early master plan', 'Fallen buildings', 'Textiles' and 'New vs old'. DARCH has a curio shop, and will soon be opening a library and a rooftop bar to allow visitors to enjoy the historic building and its view of the harbor.
