Reviews: Giethoorn & Zaanse Schans Day Tour with Hotel Pick Up in Amsterdam [Daily Departure]

It was a very enjoyable day trip. The itinerary was relaxed and not tiring. Our tour guide, Su Rui, was very enthusiastic, attentive, and friendly. She patiently explained things repeatedly. The bus drove very smoothly, and everyone in the group had a great time. We were also very lucky that even though it was cloudy, the scenic spots had blue skies and white clouds, making for great photos. It was definitely a worthwhile day trip.

Special thanks to Director Deng for his professionalism and attentiveness! He was very good at connecting the itinerary and explaining the attractions. He adjusted our free time as needed. His driving and boating were safe and reliable, making our overseas trip both safe and enjoyable. I will try to join your tour again next time.
Reviews: Netherlands Giethoorn 1-day tour [Small group of 8 people/Chinese/English options + cruise experience]
Guest User2025-06-21
When I first started planning my trip, I read some posts from other travelers and thought I could go on my own. However, when I checked public transportation in Giethoorn, I realized it wasn't practical, as it would take up most of the day to travel. So, I booked a day tour instead, which was honestly a bit pricey. However, the tour and experience were fantastic. The bus driver explained Dutch history and geography along the way to Giethoorn, and also introduced the main attractions and buildings we saw. It was definitely worth booking the tour (by the way, sit on the right side of the bus, as most of the attractions mentioned are on the right). Giethoorn is definitely worth a visit; the houses and water of the entire village create a unique, beautiful, and tranquil scene.

The Heineken Experience offers an immersive journey into the history and culture of one of the world’s most iconic beer brands. The exhibition is thoughtfully curated, from captivating stories about the company’s early days to modern brewing technologies. The atmosphere truly reflects the spirit of Amsterdam and the legacy of the Heineken family. The interactive format is particularly impressive — you can feel like part of the production process and even become “beer on the conveyor belt.” The experience wraps up perfectly with a refreshing beer tasting on a panoramic terrace. A must-visit for anyone looking to discover a different side of Amsterdam!
