Hanging Temple:Pick up from your hotel,drive to Hanging Temple.It is a unique wooden building seems to be hanging in midair of the cliffs.The Hanging Temple was built upon crags of Hengshan Mountain, Datong, north China's Shanxi Province. The Hanging Temple, involving the Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, could date back to Northern Wei Dynasty (386-535 AD). The unique wooden structure has kept it on the cliff face for more than 1500 years, and made it survived from several earthquakes. Yingxian Wooden Pagoda is regarded as one of the three world-famous pagodas, together with the Eiffel Tower in France and Pisa Leaning Tower in Italy. Located in Yingxian, Suzhou City, north China's Shanxi Province, the pagoda is the largest and oldest Buddhist pagoda in China totally built with wood. It is also named Sakyamuni Pagoda of Fogong Temple. The pagoda, built in 1056 during the Liao Dynasty, has a history of over 1,000 years.
