Even though I live in Vicenza, I hadn't visited this villa yet: it was truly a surprise, both architecturally and scenically. The highlight, of course, are the frescoes by Tiepolo Sr. and Tiepolo Jr., which, as described by our highly knowledgeable guide Francesca, left us speechless.

Would highly recommend booking this trip. Such beautiful and interesting little islands. VERY picturesque. The glass making demonstration in Murano was interesting. Tour guide on the boat was also very enthusiastic & was very informative of the sights to and from Venice > Murano > Burano.★
