This half-day tour was booked on short notice; I booked it as soon as I landed in Da Nang that morning, and we departed promptly at 1:30 PM. Although it was only half a day, we visited quite a few places. First, we went to Son Tra Peninsula, where the sea view from the mountain was quite nice; taking a taxi would have cost a lot. Then we went to Marble Mountains, which are mainly caves and not very high. The English-speaking guide had a heavy Southeast Asian accent, but it was still understandable, and he was very enthusiastic, leading us through the entire tour. Next, we went to Hoi An. It felt quite late when we arrived, so after dinner, we only had a little over an hour left to explore, just enough for taking photos. However, the fellow travelers we met along the way were all very interesting; we helped each other, chatted, and took photos, making it a fun and memorable trip.

I booked the Diamond spa treatment through Trip. I enjoyed the body and facial massage, but the hair wash and ear cleaning weren't my favorite. The therapist was great, she did everything well, but I felt like she was sometimes pulling my hair while washing and rubbing my scalp too hard. Maybe I just have a sensitive scalp, but the process wasn't very pleasant at times. Ear cleaning is an unpleasant procedure in itself, but it's necessary. I also got a pedicure, which I actually liked, but I thought the therapist would treat my heels and feet, but she only did my nails. At the end of the treatment, I was treated to coconut snacks and yogurt, which was a nice touch. By the way, the salon offers a free shuttle service if you live within a 6 km radius. I booked it the night before and the manager confirmed it. The car arrived in the morning, which was a really nice bonus.

This was a great boat trip Dow the river. We were the only 2 on the boat. Our captain was very attentive and tested us like VIP. Highly recommend it.

The tour delivers on its promise. Away from the crowds, it leads through the narrow streets of the old town, offering entirely new perspectives. Our tour guide, June, practically invited us into her "living room" and gave us authentic insights into real life there. With personal stories and references to history and everyday life, she conveyed a truly authentic impression. Her personal storytelling and numerous historical details, not found in any standard guidebook, make the tour stand out. Even the snacks and drinks offer discoveries you probably wouldn't have otherwise tried.

The tour was excellent; I loved everything. The transfer arrived on time. We had enough time at all the locations. The snorkeling was beautiful, and we saw lots of fish. We went on a short, interesting excursion to the island. I had the most filling and delicious lunch on this excursion compared to similar tours in other countries. At the end, we were taken to a beautiful beach with excellent infrastructure. We arrived back at the hotel tired but full of vivid impressions.


