Visit Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Skogafoss, Seljalandsfoss, and a hike on Sólheimajökull Glacier on this unforgettable 12-hour tour of southern Iceland. Explore the beautiful south coast of Iceland and hike on one of the last remaining glaciers in Iceland. You will be picked up from your chosen bus station or hotel at around 8am in the morning to start your adventure in Iceland. On the way to your first destination, you will pass through some beautiful mountains and a geothermal rich area. After leaving the capital area, you will head to the first stop of your tour: the majestic Seljalandsfoss. The next stop will be the majestic Skogafoss, about 30 minutes away from Seljalandsfoss. After visiting the waterfalls, you will have lunch (at your own expense). After lunch, you will continue eastwards for the exciting part of the day, a glacier hike on one of the only glaciers in the world. You will explore Sólheimajökull Glacier. After an unforgettable hike on the glacier, you will make a short stop at the famous Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. The photogenic Dýrhólaey cliffs are also a highlight of the area. We will then return to downtown Reykjavik, with an estimated arrival time of around 8pm, but this may change depending on weather and road conditions. During September-April, there is also the opportunity to hunt for the Northern Lights, and immerse yourself in the brilliant colors of the Aurora Borealis as night falls. The phenomenon depends heavily on weather conditions, so the exact location is unknown until the last minute. The moment you see the first flash of bright colors in the dark sky is always mesmerizing, so get your camera ready and prepare for this magical experience.
