Our guide, Shanshan, was the bridge connecting our journey with the 'ancient mystery' and the 'present charm'. At Sanxingdui, she was a composed enigma solver. With clear logic, she peeled back the layers of mystery surrounding the ancient Shu civilization, imbuing the cold bronze with the warmth of stories. When she pointed to the 'Divine Tree Reaching Heaven,' we seemed to hear the chanting of the ancient Shu priests. At the Panda Base, she was a joyful sharer. Knowing every panda's story intimately, her eyes sparkled as she showed us the little bundles of joy playing and munching on bamboo shoots. She not only showed us their cuteness but also helped us understand the significance of protecting them. From millennia-old cultural relics to the heartwarming paradise of national treasures, Shanshan perfectly navigated this vast shift in time and theme. With knowledge as her vessel, enthusiasm as her sail, and meticulous care as her warm breeze, she guided us on a perfect cultural and natural journey. Thank you, Shanshan, for leaving such a profound imprint of the rich heritage and vitality of Sichuan and Chongqing on our hearts.

The Wolong Panda Base exceeded all expectations. Seeing these adorable creatures up close was a dream come true. Our guide shared fascinating facts about panda conservation efforts, and the optional volunteering experience allowed us to contribute directly to their well-being. A heartwarming day indeed!
Reviews: A round-trip one-day tour to Shuangqiao Valley and Siguniang Mountain from Chengdu for sightseeing

First of all, the Siguniang Mountain scenic area is truly beautiful, and the weather was especially nice today, perfect for taking photos! Secondly, our tour guide, Tao Tao, was excellent and very professional; the itinerary was well-planned. Finally, the driver was also very skilled. It was a very satisfying day trip, and I'll definitely come back to Western Sichuan again—there are just so many beautiful sights!
Reviews: Sanxingdui Museum Day Trip | Intermediate/Advanced Guided Tour, 3-Hour Intensive Guided Tour | Small Group of 2-8 People

Ms. Xu's guided tour of Sanxingdui was fantastic! She brought the historical stories and archaeological anecdotes behind the bronze sacred tree and the protruding-eyed mask to life in a vivid and engaging way. Her explanations were logically clear and highlighted the key points. Following her, the previously obscure ancient Shu civilization suddenly became vibrant and fascinating – a truly rewarding experience! She also actively guided us to observe the details of the artifacts. She was incredibly enthusiastic throughout, maintaining a perfect pace without rushing us. This trip to Sanxingdui was made all the more meaningful by her! I also want to commend the driver! Punctual, reliable, and a skilled driver, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. The car was spotless, making me feel very comfortable. The driver's service was superb; he was always available and extremely reliable. I would definitely choose this driver again!
Reviews: Dujiangyan Day Trip [All-inclusive price | Small group tour available (2-8 people) ◆ Chinese or English-speaking guide]
Guest User2026-01-20
I felt this tour wasn't as worthwhile as the previous day's Panda Base + Sanxingdui tour. The tour guide only talked for less than an hour. Actually, if you do your research beforehand, you can see Dujiangyan without a guide. The service was still good, and the driver was very friendly. The drive from Chengdu to Dujiangyan takes about an hour. The weather wasn't great, so we didn't climb Guanshan Mountain opposite Dujiangyan. Guanxian Ancient Town isn't particularly interesting during the day, but it's much more beautiful at night with the lights on. The blue tears phenomenon is definitely worth taking photos of; it's very beautiful. The rushing and vast Minjiang River and the wisdom of the ancient people were both awe-inspiring.
