Luoji Mountain Scenic Area is located in the south of Xichang City. The name of Luoji Mountain comes from its "sister" relationship with Mount Emei. "Mount Emei resembles the eyebrows of a woman's silkworm moth, and Mount Luoji resembles the green snail-shaped bun on a girl's head." Hence the name. If you come here in May every year, you can enjoy the spectacular azaleas all over the mountains and plains. In addition, Luoji Mountain is also a well-preserved "Quaternary Ancient Glacier" museum. Take the cableway directly to the Black Dragon Pool, which is more than 3,600 meters above sea level, and walk along the lakeside plank road to the other side. You will enjoy a series of alpine lakes, such as Shuicao Lake, Swan Lake, Wild Duck Lake, Lingshou Lake, etc. It can be called a world of alpine lakes. There are 33 glacial lakes in this area, which are distributed in clusters.
