I reserved it after arriving at Taoyuan Airport and received it immediately. The amount I had already charged plus the round-trip airport tokens was enough for all my transportation expenses during my 2-night, 3-day stay, but it's easy to top up if you need to. The ticket vending machines at the station have Japanese language options, so you can top up just like a Japanese transportation IC card. I was able to use the remaining amount to do some shopping at the airport. I recommend it.

The tour is very comprehensive and you visit everything on the list. The places are very interesting and highly recommended. Because there's so much to see, it's quite intense and the time allotted to each place is limited, but sufficient to visit them without getting bogged down. The only problem is that the description said there would be an English-speaking guide, but we only had a driver. He was a great driver, but we had to visit each place on our own without any explanation.

I highly recommend this tour, as it's a great way to efficiently visit Taipei's popular tourist spots in one day. Although the tour was in Japanese, their limited Japanese didn't explain to us that we couldn't see the waterfalls. It was a shame that the train ride wasn't included. It was unfortunate that it rained, but it was great that we got to see the setting for Spirited Away.

The tour guide and driver picked us up from the hotel, which was very convenient. They provided explanations at each attraction and helped us open doors when getting on and off the bus, showing great friendliness and hospitality. Traveling to attractions like Jiufen and Shifen by public transport can be inconvenient, so having a driver saved a lot of time. Plus, the day tour departed early, avoiding the crowds of tour groups and minimizing the number of people taking photos. Highly recommended.


