This pass is absolutely amazing!!! Combined with the Amanohashidate entrance fee, the round trip to Amanohashidate alone is enough to break even!!! All other attractions are practically free!

A very convenient pass! We used it to visit several places from Osaka: Hiroshima and Miyajima, Himeji, Kurashiki, Okayama, and Kyoto. We activated it at Kansai Airport. It took us a while to figure out how to buy tickets from the machine. It turns out you have to insert them one at a time, not a bunch.

This is a very convenient pass. It pays for itself with a single roundtrip from Osaka or Kyoto to Miyajima/Hiroshima. Please note that the Osaka-Kyoto-Osaka section is not included in this pass, as this section of the Shinkansen is part of the Tokaido Line. However, the pass includes many express and regular trains on this section, so the journey can easily be completed in 20-30 minutes, depending on the time of day.

If you're going to Okayama, you absolutely must buy this travel pass! My friend and I redeemed it for Okayama Castle admission and a sundae – super refreshing in the hot summer! We also got a discount coupon for a stroll in Kurashiki. If you're planning a trip to Kurashiki, you definitely need to get this! It's a great deal. I also got a glass of sparkling wine, jelly, and a DIY dorayaki-like treat.

The Okayama Amazing Pass allows you to choose 3 activities within 7 days. After booking, you'll receive a QR code, which you can use to redeem your experience. I chose: 1. Kurashiki Bikini (redeemed at the Kurashiki Tourist Center, to the left of the Kurashiki Station exit). You'll receive a map and points there; choose the experience you want based on the map. 2. Korakuen Garden (you need to redeem the QR code at the Prefectural Museum; you can visit both the museum and Korakuen Garden). 3. Okayama Castle (accessible directly at the ticket counter). The complimentary ice cream was delicious and a great value. This pass is very worthwhile; I'll definitely buy it next time and choose different redemption points.

You can combine this with the JR Pass for even greater savings. I used two items: the hot spring bath at Key Terrace Seamore Hotel and the Matsunoshima cruise in Kii-Katsuura, both highly recommended and excellent experiences. For the third item, I originally wanted to choose the Kii-Katsuura senryu restaurant, but it was closed during my two days there (probably due to the off-season in October). Ultimately, I didn't use the third item due to my travel itinerary.


