1. The Palacio Nacional de Sintra (Palacio Nacional de Sintra) was built by John I and was not completed until the reign of Manuel I in the 16th century. It was built many times from the 14th to the 18th century, and its architectural style combines Gothic, Moorish and Portuguese styles.Before the establishment of the Republic of Portugal, it had been the summer palace of the king. Among them, the "Swan Hall" is beautifully decorated, with 27 vivid swans in different poses painted on the ceiling. There are also the "Mermaid Hall" decorated with tiles, the "China Hall" housing the Chinese ivory tower, and the "Hall of Badges" decorated with beautiful tile murals. 2. In recent years, old houses in the area have been renovated and restored, and new restaurants have opened, where people can enjoy fado, a typically Portuguese melancholic music.
