This was a Christmas activity for our family of 5 as we celebrated in Tromso. It is a must-do experience for anyone visiting to enjoy this and learn about the Sami culture. It is a 45-minute journey from Tromso with an amazing view of the snow mountains. You are free to feed and take pictures with the reindeer for around the hour. The main hall is warm and has bread, tea, and hot chocolate. Lunch was bidos (reindeer stew) or vegetarian. Then, a sharing was done by John who is from northern Sami where he shared about customs, reindeers, gakti, etc. Weather is a huge factor in these trips and the tour bus could not return to us for pickup - with an hour’s delay, the crew was very apologetic and hardworking, arranging alternative transport on two smaller Mercedes vans. This experience was memorable and I highly recommend it for the exposure with lovely people!★

I absolutely loved this experience! I enjoyed every moment of it. As it was my first time learning how to ski, it couldn’t have been better. The instructor was extremely kind, friendly, and professional. His explanations were very clear, and he was incredibly patient, which made me feel comfortable and confident from the beginning. He took the time to explain everything step by step and made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. I truly felt supported throughout the lesson. He is very responsible, attentive, and genuinely cares about making sure you learn and have a great time. I highly recommend this experience, especially if it’s your first time skiing. Without a doubt, he is an excellent instructor and the best choice to start learning how to ski. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!★
