The airport express is known for its speed. It takes only 24 minutes to reach central by airport express, with departures every 10 minutes, ensuring a worry-free journey without traffic concerns. Its comfortable riding environment is also highly commendable.
The airport express offers various featured services, including free in-town check-in and self-service baggage drop-off, Wi-Fi wireless broadband, and more, dedicated to providing passengers with a fast and comfortable travel experience.
The airport express station is seamlessly connected to Hong Kong International Airport without any access gates, allowing passengers to avoid carrying heavy luggage through various entrances and exits.
The station links to platforms 3 and 4 of terminal 2, which will open on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Upon arrival at the airport station, both sides of the train doors will open, enabling passengers to proceed directly to terminals 1 and 2 as guided.

1. Train time slot
The airport express train departs every 10 minutes. It takes approximately 24 minutes from the airport to central in downtown, about 18 minutes from the airport to Kowloon station, and around 14 minutes from the airport to Tsing Yi station.
From the airport to the city area:
To downtown: First train 05:54, last train 00:48
From the city area to the airport:
Hong Kong: First train 05:50, last train 00:48
Kowloon: First train 05:53, last train 00:52

Passengers taking the last train must enter the station at least 5 minutes before departure.

Airport express airport station
The airport station is connected to Hong Kong international airport, making passenger access to and from the airport effortless and welcoming.
Arriving passengers proceed through the baggage claim hall to collect their luggage and clear customs, then can go directly from the airport pick-up hall to the Airport Express platform at the airport station. They board the Airport Express train to the city center and exit using their ticket or QR code upon arrival. Departing passengers enter the Airport Express train at city stations, alight at the airport station, and can proceed directly to the airline check-in counters in the departure hall (7th floor) of the terminal building.
Airport express Tsing Yi station
Tsing Yi station is located at the heart of a large-scale development project near Tsing Yi north bridge, with Maritime Square, a shopping and entertainment mall designed with an oceanic concept, atop the station. Tsing Yi station offers convenient transportation access, allowing passengers to take the MTR or other modes of transportation. The station also provides ample parking spaces for drivers.
Hong Kong airport express station
Hong Kong station is located in the heart of Central's business and shopping district, connected to the MTR Central station, providing convenient transportation for passengers to travel across Hong Kong. Passengers can take the MTR or other public transportation to Hong Kong station, and the station also offers ample parking spaces for passenger use.
Airport express Kowloon station (15 min walk from West Kowloon high-speed rail station)
Kowloon station is located in Tsim Sha Tsui at the southern tip of West Kowloon, integrating residential, commercial, retail and parking facilities. The station offers convenient transportation with direct access via MTR and various other transport options. The integrated shopping mall Elements (The Elements) at Kowloon station spans approx. 900,000 sq. ft., featuring diverse renowned retailers for an exceptional shopping experience.

Airport express passengers can proceed to the counters at Hong Kong station or Kowloon station during the time slot from 90 minutes to 24 hours before departure to check in and check baggage in advance. (Passengers need to use an Octopus card or airport express ticket to enter the city check-in area, where the fare will be deducted upon entry and will not be deducted again when entering the platform.)

Free charging facilities in designated carriages
During the journey, airport express passengers need not worry about insufficient power for their portable electronic devices.
