Lemosho, a new summit route established in recent years, allows climbers time to enjoy the unspoilt wilderness and stunning scenery. The route approaches Kilimanjaro from the forests and swamps of the west and passes through the Shira volcano. caldera and explore the plateau’s rock formations before passing beneath Kibo’s southern ice sheet. We make the final ascent via the Barafu route. In the early morning and evening, Kibo's stunning views are often visible. A seven-day mountain itinerary offers climbing enjoyment.Differences between 6-day/7-day/8-day routes:Choose one of the 6-day shira camp1/2, don’t stop at karanga camp and go directly to barafu campChoose one of the 7-day shira camp1/2, stay at karanga camp for one night to adapt to altitude sicknessStayed at shira camp1&amp;2 and karanga camp for 8 daysExplain:In the past, Shira Camp2 was followed by Moir Hut, passing through Lava Tower before arriving at Barranco Camp. Nowadays, the Moir section is basically omitted in current itineraries, because it makes the trip quite time-consuming and tiring.
