La Digue

Whether you are starting off from Mahé or Praslin island, you will be cruising the crystalline waters on board the island’scommunity ferries to La Digue, where you will experience some of the most memorable and authentic island living moments. La Digue is yours to explore guide-free and at your own pace for the entirety of the day. Hop onto your bike to begin youradventure, and allow yourself to be opened to all the surprises that you may find right around the corner, such as an unbotheredland tortoise causing some mid-morning “traffic”… if you’re “lucky”, that is! You can choose to visit many of the island’s attractions, such as L’Union Estate, home to the cemetery of the originalsettlers of the island. Attractions include the traditional copra mill, giant land tortoises, an old plantation house and thepicturesque Anse Source D’Argent; famous for its huge granite boulders and clear turquoise water. Itinerary<ul><li>Pick-up at the specifics shuttle pick-up points to Mahe Jetty.(see below list of pick-up points)</li><li>Depart to Praslin by Ferry transfer (1 hour 15 minutes or more sailing time, depending on sea conditions)</li><li>Arrival at the Praslin jetty to take the ferry to La Digue (15-20 minutes or more sailing time, depending on sea conditions)</li><li>Arrival on La Digue.</li><li>Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a local representative of the Creole Travel Services team to collect your bikes and entrance tickets for L'Union Estate Farm</li><li>Begin your 8 hour self tour on bike on La Digue</li><li>Return the bikes at the end your tour, then meet up at the La Digue jetty 20 minutes before the ferry departs for Praslin (15-20 minutes sailing time depending on sea condition)</li><li>Arrival at the Praslin jetty followed by transfer back to your hotel.</li></ul> This is a guide-free excursion to enjoy exploring on your own.
