[Travel Report]
Each time before boarding a train, bus or boat, it is important that passengers record their trip in the Travel Report on the Eurail application. If passengers travel without having entered the trip in the Travel Report, they risk a fine and payment of a full fare ticket.
- Changes to Denmark – Germany route: Since December 2019, DSB trains on the route from Hamburg – Copenhagen will not cross the sea anymore but go via the mainland. The number of stops will be reduced, and travel time will be shorter (approximately 4:40 hours).
Many train stations in the Netherlands have platforms with entry/exit gates. To enter or exit from the train's platform, traveller's will need to pass through these gates that are controlled with a bar code reader.

If the barcode does not work and the gates do not open, push the blue info button on the post near the gate and travellers will be connected to a station employee who will assist them.
