<p>On this 3-day trip from Fes to Marrakech, you'll pass through cedar forests, the Atlas Mountains and deserts. Visit the fortress, ride a camel and sleep in a Berber tent.</p><p><strong>first day:</strong>Fez - Ifrane - Sahara Your tour starts in the morning when your knowledgeable driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad and take you to Merzouga in the Sahara, home to Erg Chebbi Sand dunes, these stretch all the way to Algeria. This is one of the must-do experiences in Morocco. But first, indulge in a magnificent tour of the Atlas Mountains, your first stop will be Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco due to its alpine architecture. Next stop is the fragrant cedar forest near the peaceful village of Azrou, where you can see the Barbary apes living in their natural habitat and ready to have lunch with you. The beautiful journey continues through the mountains until you reach Midelt for lunch (a town mainly focused on apples). Stop along the way to photograph the Guiz Canyon and its stunning scenery. Then to Rissani, the main edge of the Sahara, and then into the desert until the Erg Chebbi dunes appear like magic. Get ready for the highlight of the day, a 90-minute camel ride to our Berber tent, which is surrounded by huge sand dunes. Relax and unwind while enjoying traditional Berber music and the majesty of the moon and countless stars, which appear so close to you that you can touch them. Enjoy an expertly crafted dinner before heading to sleep in a spectacular Sahara desert camp.</p><p><strong>the next day:</strong>Merzouga-Dade Canyon The sunrise will rise spectacularly over the sand dunes. We will return to Merzouga, where you can choose to ride a camel or a 4x4, and start your second day with a delicious breakfast and a hot bath. We will leave the Sahara desert and pass through Elford (a small town) famous for its fossil production before heading to Dingir, the "City of the Mountains", another lovely Berber name in Tamazit Settlement, where we will marvel at the contrast of the colors of the palm trees and houses.
