Day 1 You'll travel through the ancient kingdom of Wessex to Stonehenge. These amazing stone circles give you a glimpse into the spiritual world of the past and provide an experience you are sure to remember. After admiring the spiritual majesty of this Neolithic site, you continue to the Standard Price geological formations of the Jurassic Coast, where the cliffs are filled with fossils from the age of dinosaurs. We drive along the coast to Durdle Door, a beautiful natural limestone arch jutting out into the ocean. Take your time exploring the coast before heading to the historic city of Exeter. Once the westernmost fortified settlement in Roman Britain, the City features ancient city walls, a Norman castle, a Gothic cathedral, Tudor heritage, a quayside and a vibrant commercial and Food and Beverages district. You will stay in Exeter for two nights. Day 2 Explore the stunning remote windswept landscapes of Dartmoor, where you can see herds of local ponies grazing near Standard Price rock formations. Dartmoor is also home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, so enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the isolated beauty of the moors. You'll cross the ancient clamp bridge of Postbridge and make your way to Tavistock, the historic market town and birthplace of Sir Francis Drake. Return to Exeter in the early afternoon, giving you the opportunity to explore the City's ancient riches at your leisure. The city walls, the Norman Cathedral, the Royal Albert Memorial and the quayside all await you. 3rd day This morning you'll travel to Glastonbury, home of the world-famous Glastonbury Music Festival, where you can climb Glastonbury Tor, long associated with the mythical kingdom of Avalon and King Arthur. You'll arrive in Bath in time for Lunch and a relaxing afternoon. Recharge your batteries in one of the many restaurants, teahouses or pubs before setting out to explore the rich heritage of this fascinating City. In the evening, you will return to London.
