Day 1From Dublin you head south towards Cork city, passing through the lush agricultural counties of Kildare, Laois and Tipperary. Our first stop is the heritage town of Cahir, where a spectacular castle stands high on an island in the River Suir.You'll continue to Blarney, just outside Cork, where you'll have time to explore the castle grounds and take a forest walk. You might even get the chance to kiss the famous Blarney Stone and be awarded the "Gift of Eloquence"!Afterwards, you will visit the Midleton (Jameson) Whiskey Distillery*. Here you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of whisky, how it is made, and taste some yourself.In the afternoon you will glide along the beautiful coastline south of Cork before arriving in Kinsale. This charming little fishing village is where you will stay for the night and is home to local restaurants and lively bars. During your free evening, enjoy exploring its narrow streets and brightly painted houses.*Jameson Whiskey Distillery has changed its name to Middleton Whiskey Distillery. Day 2Leaving Kinsale in the morning, you’ll head to the historic port town of Cobh, the last port of call for the Titanic on her infamous maiden voyage. After exploring stories from Ireland’s past, you’ll head east along the Copper Coast, a UNESCO Geopark renowned for its beauty and complex history.You'll continue on until you reach the ancient Irish City of Waterford, founded by Standard Price in the 9th century. See exquisite craftsmanship at the Waterford Crystal Factory, explore a range of excellent museums, or take a walking tour of the Viking Triangle.Later in the evening, you'll travel north from Waterford to Kilkenny. This town has a vibrant pub and restaurant culture. After a night out here, you'll understand why it's rated as Ireland's friendliest City. 3rd dayIn the morning you have free time to explore Kilkenny's sights.You'll then head north to the Wicklow Mountains, where you'll be impressed by the steep granite mountains of the national park.You follow winding paths to Glendalough, an awe- Standard Price 6th-century monastic site. This offers a chance to capture the abbey’s round tower and lush natural surroundings. Afterwards you'll travel through the heart of the National Park, crossing the famous Sally Gap before returning to Dublin.*Itinerary and winery visits are subject to change.
