Adriano was extremely knowledgeable and kind!! You could tell he was very passionate about the history of Salvador and even shared details on harder topics to bring light to the city’s past. Overall a great tour and a great introduction to the Pelourinho area!! Adriano gave a lot of recommendations on food and bar spots to check out nearby which was awesome. Thanks so much, definitely a must for anyone going to Salvador de Bahia

The island is beautiful and worth a visit. Only 50 people lived on the island, and it was still a holiday when I went, but the restaurants and shops were basically open. The network on the island is not very good. It takes about two and a half hours to take a boat, so it's good to sleep. There are two opportunities to enter the water, the natural pool and the beach on the island, which is quite safe.

Yasmin was an excellent teacher. She was patient and demonstrative and I really enjoyed also the historiography she shared with the group. Which is extremely important. Highly recommend to all traveling in Salvador!


