Join Australia's award-winning whale watching operator Sea World Whale Watch for a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife tour and witness the majesty of humpback whales in their natural habitat! Departing from Sea World Cruise Terminal at Main Beach, cruise the iconic Gold Coast aboard our purpose-built luxury vessel, the Spirit of Migaloo II. From late May to early November we sail up to six times a day to the famous Humpback Highway, where 40,000 whales migrate from Antarctica to the Great Barrier Reef each year, passing just off the Gold Coast coast. Here you can watch whales soar into the air, slap the water with their huge tails, and dive into the depths of the ocean. As you get up close to the whales, you can watch live underwater footage streamed directly to your mobile device for a unique perspective. You can even hear the iconic whale song through our advanced underwater microphones. Enjoy expert commentary from our knowledgeable crew as you witness these playful, curious, gentle giants displaying acrobatic skills. You may also spot Other fascinating wildlife such as dolphins, turtles and seabirds. As you look forward to your cruise, enjoy a Food and Beverages at the Waterfront Deck Café, enrich your knowledge with informative exhibits, and visit our charming terminal gift shop.
