Reviews: Shanghai Metro Line 14: Jingan Temple + Xintiandi + Yu Garden + Shanghai Tower + Huangpu River Cruise

The tour was rich and atmospheric. We started at Jing'an Temple (a quiet spot among the skyscrapers), then went to Xintiandi—old shikumen houses converted into cafes and boutiques, very stylish. Yuyuan Garden delighted us with its stone labyrinths and bridges; even among the crowds, there were quiet corners. The Shanghai Tower and the view from over 500 meters were breathtaking. In the evening, a boat ride along the Huangpu River: the lights of Pudong and the illuminations of the Bund were the best things to do in Shanghai. The only drawback was the language barrier: the guide's native Russian wasn't English, so the deeper details were sometimes lost. For a general introduction and beautiful photos, it was quite sufficient. Overall, I recommend the tour: convenient logistics, compact layout, and impressive views. The language didn't spoil the experience, but it was a memorable detail.

We loved everything. A big thank you to our guide, Vasya, who led us on a truly engaging tour of the most beautiful places. He showed us great photo angles, took some really beautiful photos of us, and took great care of us throughout the entire tour. He showed us where to find delicious and inexpensive food. There were only two of us in the group, so it was a private tour for my husband and me, which was very convenient. At the end of the tour, Vasya put us on the boat, explained how to get back to the hotel, and said he was always available to help if we needed anything. We highly recommend this tour and, of course, our guide, Vasya.

The main show is really beautiful and interesting, The fear room was very impressive, as well as the performance with glass balls. But I didn't really like the rest of the show.

Overall the trip was excellent. We enjoyed the trip. The guide Anna Li helped us a lot. Her communication strategy was awasome. We recommned this trip.

Highly recommend this unique experience! We got to dress up, get make up done, and photos taken. The show and food was amazing. This place is a great way to experience Chinese culture.

Great! I highly recommend it! The views are incredible! I really enjoyed it for a change of pace! Book on trip.com, they send you a code, exchange it for a ticket at the pier, choose a departure time, and it's amazing! Everything went smoothly. I warned them that the text message wouldn't arrive, wrote to the tour organizer, and they sent it to my email and also sent it to me in the trip.com chat. Pier 1, Terminal 1, is easy to find; it's on the maps! For evening trips, leave for the boarding point 1.5-2 hours in advance; traffic jams can occur! Or take the subway without traffic. On the boat, we bought extra seats at a table for ¥100 per person, and the price included ice cream and biscuits!
