From the moment we boarded the bus to the meeting point, everything went smoothly and pleasantly. Our driver was skilled, professional, and incredibly enthusiastic, which made us feel warm and happy. When we met our tour guide, Meng, and heard his warm and professional explanations, everything felt reassuring and trustworthy. I thought to myself, "Today's day trip is going to be a breeze!" And indeed, under Meng's detailed and professional guidance, the entire day's itinerary was both smooth and enjoyable. 😃 Tour guide Meng is professional, humorous, and attentive! The whole day trip was extremely cost-effective! Thank you, tour guide Meng! Thank you, Ctrip…

Reviews: Hangzhou West Lake Pleasure Boat + Leifeng Tower + Lingyin Temple 1-day tour [West Lake Su Causeway, Lingyin Temple]
Guest User2026-06-09
The tour guide's explanations were excellent, covering history and culture. The West Lake cruise explained the geographical anecdotes of the city and its three mountains, and introduced Su Shi and Li Shutong. The origins of Leifeng Pagoda were also discussed (my itinerary didn't include entrance fees, but the guide gave me a 30 yuan discount; those over 60 received a half-price discount, and Guide Wu helped accommodate everyone). At noon, we went to Meijiawu to sample West Lake Longjing tea. Each person paid an additional 35 yuan for a group meal, which included beggar's chicken, braised pork, steamed eggs with cured meat, and a steamed fish. The meal for ten people consisted of ten dishes and a soup, which was quite good. In the afternoon, we visited Lingyin Temple on Feilai Peak. Guide Wu taught us the proper way to burn incense and perform rituals, and shared some interesting stories, explaining what is appropriate and inappropriate to do. I learned a lot from Guide Wu and give him a thumbs up! This trip fulfilled my wishes and was well worth it. These are purely my heartfelt feelings and reflections.

Reviews: West Lake Pleasure Boat Cruise + Prince Bay Flower Viewing + Lakeside Courtyard Afternoon Tea + Song Dynasty Tea Whisking Half-day Tour
Guest User2026-04-04
The tour guide was very patient, but we weren't familiar with the area and didn't know how to take the bus to the scenic spot. It was incredibly crowded on the holiday; I believe a weekday trip would have been much better.

Reviews: Half-day tour of Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou (guided tour, small group of 2-10 people), optional tea room for copying scriptures and tea tasting.
Guest User2026-09-23
Our guide 小郑 was extremely helpful and patience. She took great care of us and made sure the full itinerary was covered even though we were late and had to be separated from rest of the group. She had deep interest and knowledge on the Buddhist history/culture and her sharing was very insightful. She also went the extra mile and helped us to navigate the public bus transport at lingyin after the tour (we got a bit lost)!
