I booked a local tour through Ctrip. There was no shopping throughout the trip, and it was a private car. I was fortunate to meet our guide, Xiao Kang, who arranged the itinerary reasonably, making it comfortable and not tiring. He was professional and patiently explained everything in detail, allowing us to gain a deep understanding of the history and culture of Dujiangyan. We were also very lucky to see many adorable pandas eating and playing in Panda Valley. We also enjoyed Sichuan opera face-changing and blue tears performances, which brought the trip to a perfect end. I sincerely thank Guide Kang and the driver. Five stars all around!★

We originally booked a large group of 35 people, but the travel agency upgraded us to a VIP small group of 4 people on the second day, which felt like great value for money. Many thanks to our driver and guide, Mr. Li, for the relaxed itinerary, his enthusiastic explanations throughout, and for saving us from many things that would otherwise have cost extra. Her commentary was a major highlight; her humorous language and vivid stories captivated us, making everything from the adorable pandas' daily lives to the magnificent history of the water conservancy projects.
