We departed from Shenzhen in the morning and took a bus to the Gongbei Port in Zhuhai. Upon arrival, we first went to Lovers' Road and strolled along this winding seaside promenade. On one side was the azure sea dotted with white sails, and on the other side were lush trees and fragrant flowers, as if we were in a romantic painting.
Next, we arrived at the Zhuhai Fisher Girl Statue. This iconic sculpture, standing on a reef, holds a pearl in her hands and her clothes flutter in the breeze. It shines brightly against the backdrop of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge in the distance, making the legend even more touching.
Afterwards, head to Jingshan Park and take the cable car to the top for a 360° panoramic view of Zhuhai: the city's buildings are arranged in a well-organized manner, the Lingdingyang waters are vast and blue, and the islands are like pearls. On a clear day, you can even see the outline of Macau in the distance.
In the afternoon, we visited the Yuanming New Garden, strolling through the replica of the imperial garden. Pavilions and towers stood by the water, blending the exquisite beauty of Jiangnan gardens with the grandeur of northern palaces. Every step revealed a new scene, as if we had traveled through time.
Finally, the Macau Island Tour begins, taking you on a boat trip through Macau's waters to get a close look at the modern architectural complexes such as the Lisboa, Grand Lisboa, and Macau Tower reflected in the shimmering water, creating a unique skyline that intertwines with the traditional Portuguese-style coastline.
The trip concludes with a return to Shenzhen, offering a day to fully appreciate the beauty of the Zhuhai-Macau waterfront and the charm of its ancient and modern architecture.
