Reviews: DOI INTHANON National Park with Waterfall and Hilltribe village
Guest User2026-01-26
I had a very pleasant experience on this tour. The transportation was punctual and comfortable, which made the day easy and stress-free. Both the guide and the driver were friendly, informative, and spoke English well enough to clearly explain the itinerary and answer questions. All the attractions included in the tour met my expectations. The waterfalls and the national park were well worth the visit. The pace of the tour was well balanced — neither rushed nor too slow — allowing enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling pressured. Lunch was also included and was quite acceptable, consisting of chicken, vegetables, rice, and an omelette, which was simple but satisfying. Overall, it was a well-organized and enjoyable day trip, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Doi Inthanon in a comfortable and structured way.

I had a great time with guide Mr M who took me to several impressive temples in Chiang Mai city centre, the fascinating umbrella making centre and the unmissable Doi Suthep. Mr M provided interesting insights into each site and chose a great restaurant serving tasty local food for lunch. I also really appreciated his advice for the best positions to take stunning photos. I high recommend this tour.
Reviews: Doi Inthanon National Park + Hiking one-day tour from Chiang Mai
Guest User2025-05-05
The main attraction is a quiet, deserted, and seriously underrated itinerary. The light hiking is very comfortable, and the temperature in the mountains is 20 degrees Celsius, which is much better than the noisy and trendy cafes. There is also the JJ Market, a market that is out of touch with reality and sells a lot of repetitive items, catering entirely to tourists.

We saw so many things on one day, from elephants to water falls to coffee farm and mountain (including hughest point in Thailand) and national park. Even if it felt rushed at times, it's so much better than to do it in 2 different tours if you're on a tight schedule. Also the contact with elephants was nice and friendly, not too much handling. The road was also bumpy. You don't have to bathe with elephants or to swim, so you could keep ur clothes. During the hike, we were free to walk at our pace, stop for pictures or to explore some things. Nobody was rushing or controlling us, although someone always stayed behind with the last person of the group. (And one more at the front) The guides were super nice and explained everything. Especially rainbow, she is such a cute girl and she is so friendly. Only smalk point is that the driving of the driver felt crazy at some points, speeding at curves and sharp turns.
