I had many booking channels, but ultimately chose Ctrip because their Black Diamond membership makes communication easier with any issues. The visit itself was fine; three hours was about right—just enough time to experience and see what the glacier was like. It was pretty good, and the photos turned out quite well.★

This is a long trip - 14 hours - but it is well worth it. You get to see the South of the island and the tour includes some jaw dropping sites like Gullfoss, Geysir, and Thingvellir National Park. It included stops at nightfall too and we saw the Northern Lights. Very knowledgeable guide. Only negative was stops at sites were short but it was very cold - your hands go numb. Bring hand warmers and wrap up warm as this area has its own climate which is very cold and windy during Dec / Jan. AMAZING★

13:30 Collect your checked baggage at the airport. 13:45 Head to the airport exit. 13:50 Present your voucher at the fry bus counter next to the airport exit and tell them the name of your hotel. Receive your ticket. Turn left at the exit and walk one minute. 13:51 Present your ticket to the driver and tell them the name of your hotel. 13:52 Store your luggage in the bus's basement. 13:53 Sit in your preferred seat. 14:23 Depart. 15:19 Arrive at BSI. 15:22 Pass through the BSI building and board the bus (Reykjavik Excursions) parked right in front of you. Depart at 15:23 and get off at your destination.

There is a large luggage space below the seats. I stowed my suitcase there before boarding. There is also storage space above the seats, where I can store smaller luggage and a jacket.
