If you need to change your high-speed rail departure time slot, please cancel your booking and reserve seats again in the "Booking Management" function at least 30 minutes before the originally scheduled train departure time.
To change the date of your high-speed rail journey, please cancel your booking and seat selection at least one day before the scheduled date via the "Booking Management" feature. After cancellation, you can rebook for a new travel date.
After receiving the physical ticket:
Once the ticket booklet is collected, online operations are no longer applicable. If you need to change the date or reservation, please bring the ticket booklet and your original passport to the high-speed rail station ticket window for processing. You can only change the travel date once.
To change your high-speed rail departure time slot, please go to the high-speed rail ticket counter at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of your original train.
To change the date of your high-speed rail ticket, please visit the high-speed rail counter at least 30 minutes before the original train's departure (time slots for ticket windows are subject to each high-speed rail station's regulations).
Tickets can only be changed or canceled once (online and in-person changes are counted together).
If the high-speed rail travel date is changed, all previously booked seats will be canceled, and no seats will be reserved for the new date.
Booking Notice
The name, country of residence, and passport number provided during booking must match the passport information presented when boarding.
All passengers must prepare their travel documents (such as passport, ID card, and valid visa) before departure.
Travel Pass eligibility
Free for children aged 0–5 who do not occupy a separate seat
Children aged 0–5 years who are taller than 115 cm can still ride the Taiwan High Speed Rail for free after presenting identification.
Children aged 6–11 years and taller than 115 cm must purchase a child ticket and present proof of identity when boarding.
Children 12 cm or taller are charged the same as adults.
Children aged 0–11 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Ticket & voucher eligibility
This product is exclusively for non-Taiwanese travelers staying in Taiwan for short-term visits (less than 180 days) or visa-exempt entry (not applicable to non-Taiwanese individuals residing in Taiwan for reasons such as education or work).
Passengers on Taiwan High Speed Rail must present a redemption code, passport, and valid recent entry documents for Taiwan (such as a visa, visa-exempt entry stamp, Exit & Entry Permit for Taiwan, China, etc.).
Travelers holding both a Taiwan issued passport and a foreign passport must present their non-Taiwan passport along with valid entry documents for Taiwan (such as a visa, visa exemption stamp, or Exit & Entry Permit for Taiwan, China).
