We had an amazing and informative day with our tour guide. In perfect English he walked us through the history of Samarkand and showed us the main sights. He also was willing to answer all our questions and told us about local culture and uzbek customs. We would definitely recommend this tour, especially to those new to the city!

A tour to the 7 lakes in Tajikistan is the best investment in memories of this trip! From the very first minutes of the journey, you are surrounded by incredibly beautiful, towering mountains. Their scale is astounding. Each of the seven lakes is absolutely unique. They have different shapes, completely different water colors ā€“ from soft turquoise and rich aquamarine to deep, almost black.ā€¢ It looks like Photoshop, but it's real. ā€¢ The road is pure adrenaline. The serpentine roads are challenging, narrow, and over cliffs. But the driver is simply a master of his craft! He drove so confidently and smoothly that there was no fear, only respect for such skill.šŸ¤˜ The guide was a pro, without boring lectures, he told us about the lakes, mountains, and mountain villages. He didn't rush us, leaving us plenty of time to enjoy the ride and take beautiful photos. Yes, the road might seem tiring, but it's definitely worth it. This excursion gave us the most vivid and powerful emotions. The stunning nature of Tajikistan, the extreme sports, the great team, and the coordinated work of all participants made this day.

Supposed to be a group tour but I was the lone traveller. Excellent clear prior instructions on hotel pick up, train tickets and identities of driver and tour guide. Guide Ikrom was patient and professional in his work, and the driver in Samarkand was friendly. The driver in Tashkent for hotel pick up and drop off was also excellent. Long day trip but worth the price and experience.
