Reviews: Verona Small Group Walking Tour with Cable Car and Arena Tickets

What an experience! We had Maura who was the BEST guide. Super knowledgeable, great company and incredibly talented guide. This tour takes you everywhere....past little osterias with high recommendation, up with the cable car to a birds-eye-view of Verona, past beautiful churches, through winding streets and beyond. Couldn't recommend this highly enough. I did this with my mother and one other couple and it was like our own private tour! The tour is definitely three hours long so bring plenty of water and comfy shoes...enjoy!

Beautiful house and grounds. Went out of season so it was lovely and quiet. Wine tasting was excellent and our guide was very nice.

The walk is well structured. We visited nice places we would have Never Found for our own. Interesting explanation of each sightseeing step. We enjoyed and fee was well invested.

We had not been to Verona before, so this walking tour provided a great overview of the City touching on some of the main highlights. Priscilla was a fantastic guide sharing her extensive knowledge with enthusiasm and humor. We didn't realize the extensive history in Verona, and she presented that in a compelling way. I wish we had booked the longer tour with her to go into the arena too, but we also had to get on the road for the Dolomites. This is a small thing, but it was helpful for Priscilla to wear the light pink top so it was easier to follow her in the crowd (and the neon green folder was distinctive too). Great tour!

We had very little time to spend in Verona, but I thought a food tour would be a fun and unique part of our trip to Italy and a great way to get to know this region. I was right! We had a wonderful young woman guide all to ourselves for a great afternoon. It was five of us in our group. We started at a small restaurant for appetizers, then she walked us about ten minutes to another place for a first course. Then another walk to a different restaurant for the second course. Followed by a final walk to a really authentic (non-touristy) gelato place. The walking through Verona was part of the fun. Our guide shared lots of info about food traditions that are unique to the city and region. We had the opportunity to try things we had never eaten before-including donkey meat (If no one had told me what it was I wouldn't have known-it was delicious!). Everyone in our group loved this experience and considered it a great highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!
