Reviews: Koh Samui Jungle Elephant Sanctuary Half Day Tour
Guest User2025-11-21
Wow what an amazing day! The pick up was on time and hassle free direct from my hotel. It had been raining so I think that meant a few cancellations, all the better for me who ended up in a small group of just 5. John was our guide. A lovely intro with a nice coffee. Then we got to meet and feed some gorgeous elephants. And a great photo opportunity . We then went to meet the rest. (They have 7 at this sanctuary). Plenty chance to ask questions and know everything about their elephants. A quick coffee then change for a chance to shower and brush the elephant. This was fantastic! What a wholesome , amazing day ! I definately recommend you visit when in samui

This experience is first class. We took the tour with Angi and she was amazing! We got lots of information about the Elephants and their habitat and welfare. It is obvious that Angi and her team care deeply for the Elephants and we were privileged to be allowed so much access to them in their natural environment. We were allowed to make up the Elephants food and then feed them. Afterwords we met the Elephants in the Jungle before joining in with their bath. We had so much fun. This is a must do tour! PS Bring swimwear as you get to join the Elephants in a large pool and you can assist in washing them down!
Reviews: One-day tour to Angthong Marine National Park

The hardest part of this tour was understanding what program corresponds to what. The program itself is written in the description in solid text, making it difficult to understand what the tour includes. I had to check. After receiving answers to my questions, I booked this tour under the name Mr. Tu - the name of the port. In the morning, I was punctually picked up by minibus. There was a small complimentary breakfast at the port. Then we boarded a speedboat. We sailed for about an hour. It starts with the waves, so I recommend motion sickness pills. The first point is snorkeling. We managed to arrive first, so there were not many people yet. We were given masks and life jackets. The underwater world is magnificent. Then we were taken to an island for Hike to the lake. Then to another island, where we had a delicious meal and then kayaking. And finally to the main island, where there is a view of all the Angthong islands from an altitude of 500 meters. The climb took 30 minutes. Steep steps. Trust your health. I highly recommend this tour, but be sure to check the details before purchasing. I enjoyed it.
Reviews: Half-day tour of Pig Island, Koh Samui, Thailand, snorkeling and touching pigs + pink dolphins
Guest User2025-10-22
The half-day trip was very relaxing, and I didn't have to get up early. Maybe everyone doesn't like half-day trips, but it was just my daughter, another couple, and me that day, so it was a very relaxing experience. Pig Island is perfect for children. While there's nothing particularly exciting, the kids loved the pigs. We even rode a jet ski (optional) and snorkeled once, which was a very relaxing experience. The weather was nice, and the sunset was beautiful. The departure pier was a bit far, and it felt like almost an hour's drive. The boat was quite fast, arriving in less than half an hour.

What a great trip! We were picked up from our hotel 15 minutes before our scheduled pickup time and taken to the boat station. Soft drinks were provided on the boat. Before reaching the island, we stopped for snorkeling. The island itself is beautiful, and the pigs are adorable. The guide was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. We took the afternoon excursion and stopped on the way back to watch the sunset from the water. Before leaving, we had lunch at the station, a small buffet with several dishes.
