Exceptional! Our guide Paora is the best! A native son of the land, he provided an authentic experience we frlt conmected to place through his keen cultural knowledge and spirit. Everywhere we went it was like we were cousins visiting our familyʻs home.

We learned so much about the trees and plants unique to NZ on the bush walk. It gave us a foundation for the rest of our trip around NZ. We loved walking on the black sand beach. We could have used a bit more time on the beach but overall the tour was well planned. We also enjoyed tasting Manuka honey and chewing a kawakawa leaf.

Had a fantastic time our guide Cess was a great very informative he had a great sense of humour and we all enjoyed the games, we had a lot of fun . Would definitely recommend this tour ..

Well organised and a fun day out. Unfortunately we didn't see any whales. We did see a pod of dolphins at the start of the journey but not much else. They were kind enough to offer us vouchers to use again, but we're fully booked out when we tried to use them a few days later. It was a wonderful day out on the boat and the crew were great. It just so happened that we were not lucky enough to see any whales.


