The bus was large, and the driver was friendly. He provided detailed explanations of Outback, including information I hadn't learned from the guidebook. I listened attentively. We stopped at rest stops every hour and a half, where we could grab a drink and take photos, which was nice. However, even with the air conditioning on, it was so hot I was drenched in sweat. It felt like I'd stepped into a sauna.★
