What an incredible experience! We were very fortunate to see sperm whales, orcas, dolphins and so much more on this amazing trip. Whale Watch Kaikōura went out of their way to accommodate us when it looked as though bad weather would cause our afternoon trip to be cancelled and squeezed us on to an earlier sailing. The crew were fantastic and it was apparent how much respect they have for the environment and the wildlife we saw. My wife was thrilled to get a shout out from the captain for spotting one of the sperm whales! The whole experience was very enjoyable and it was extremely emotional to see these beautiful creatures close up. Can’t recommend this trip highly enough - it’s an absolute must do if you’re visiting Kaikōura. A real highlight of our visit to New Zealand.

Kaikōura Zipline was an excellent day! The scenery was absolutely stunning and the placement of the ziplines took full advantage of each view. The trip up the mountain in an old vehicle was bumpy, but fun and the guides were very informative about the natural features and history of the areas we passed through. The ziplines themselves were arranged to travel down the mountain in 5 sections, with a walk between each zipline. The guides made my first zipline experience feel safe but exhilarating! I would highly recommend this experience.
