We departed from our Cebu hotel at 4 AM, and after a 3-hour drive, arrived in Oslob for a close encounter with whale sharks (the world's largest fish). In the afternoon, we went diving in Moalboal to see sardines. The round trip took over 8 hours, but it was definitely worth it. Although it was a shared tour, there were only 7 of us. The driver was Filipino, and the guide was Chinese (Xiao Duan). They provided commentary throughout the trip, and the service was excellent. They took great care of everyone, and communication was seamless.

I was worried because I read various comments in the reviews, but I had a fantastic time! They were supposed to pick me up at the hotel at 5am, but they called around 4:30am asking "Where are you now?" It seemed they had arrived early and wanted to let me know. I slept for the three hours each way, so when I woke up, we had arrived. When we got to the whale shark area, we paid the entrance fee of 100p and also paid extra to rent a snorkel air pump. I didn't rent a GoPro. Goggles are free. Seeing the whale sharks up close and swimming with them was the best memory of my life! The driver waited for me, so I dried myself off and we traveled for another hour and a half to the canyoning location. However, it felt very short. For the canyoning, we were asked whether we wanted to walk 45 minutes to the top or pay p800 per person to do a skyride, and of course we paid lol. It was thrilling and exciting, but you can't do canyoning without doing it, so it might not be for people with a fear of heights. The river was beautiful during the canyoning, and we had a great time jumping and swimming for about two hours! There was a shop along the way where you could buy things and pay later, but we didn't buy anything to save money. When we finished, we had lunch, changed clothes, took a shower, and that was it. It was so much fun, so I highly recommend making a reservation ✨✨ Thank you!

Wow! You can see whale sharks up close!!! The taxi driver took us to the spot, waited for us while we watched the whale sharks, and then dropped us off back at the hotel 😊 He was a really great driver! It's a shame I couldn't communicate with him because I don't speak English 😭 Since you leave early in the morning, it's a good idea to bring some bread or something to eat! Also, it's a good idea to bring a waterproof clear pouch to take pictures with your smartphone! They sell them at 3COINS 👍 You'll probably need goggles too! You can change in the taxi or hidden inside the taxi, so especially women should bring a bath towel with buttons (like in swimming class in school) That's about it for what to bring! I didn't bring any cash, but I didn't have any problems. If you're worried, I think 1,000 pesos would be enough. When you arrive at the spot, you can rent a GoPro and something like a water ninja jutsu to use for snorkeling at the reception for a fee, but honestly, the things I brought above are enough - the food was also very delicious! The rice is served in a huge portion on a large plate, but if you're a light eater, please don't immediately transfer the rice from the large plate to a smaller plate until it's all gone. The staff will think you're short on food and bring you another huge portion! (It shouldn't be a problem for big eaters.) That's how it is. Thank you so much to the driver!
