▲ The Glacier Park is a park composed of caves and grottoes formed by glacial erosion, a geological relic of the Quaternary glaciation, and is known as the "Glass Palace of Lucerne." Located in Lucerne, in central Switzerland, it was discovered in 1872. It showcases the historical glacial landscape of Switzerland. The park features mirror images simulating the glaciers of that era and models of human life during the Ice Age. The Glacier Park is located 32 kilometers north of Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, on the northeast slope of the main peak, Shanzidou, of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is a typical example of modern glaciers on Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It can be reached by taking the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tourist cable car (from 3356 meters to 4506 meters) for fifteen minutes.
▲ The Glacier Park boasts a vast, snow-covered landscape in winter and spring, making it a top destination for skiing and snow play in my country. In summer and autumn, visitors can admire the 2.7-kilometer-long Baishui No. 1 Glacier, formed 40,000 years ago. The ice towers, praised as "green snow peaks," resemble giant pieces of ice jade embedded among the rugged rocks. ▲ About 5 kilometers west of the Ganhaizi Visitor Center, you'll arrive at the lower station at the foot of the snow-capped mountain, the starting point of the Snow Mountain Cableway. Nestled in a dense primeval forest at an altitude of 3356 meters, the cableway ascends to the upper station, located directly below the main peak, Shanzidou, at an altitude of 4506 meters. The cableway is 2914 meters long with a vertical drop of 1150 meters, making it the highest altitude tourist cableway in my country. The cableway uses luxurious, fully enclosed gondolas for six passengers, ensuring safety and comfort. Your journey takes you from the vast forest of the lower station to the snow-covered landscape of the upper station, a mere half-hour trip that allows you to experience all four seasons.
▲ Blue Moon Valley Scenic Area is located on the eastern slope of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Yulong County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. Attractions include Jade Liquid Lake, Mirror Lake, Blue Moon Lake, and Listening to the Waves Lake. Blue Moon Valley is formed by the melting snow and ice of the ancient glaciers of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain flowing down the cliffs, continuously gathering into mountain streams and brooks, eventually forming a crystal-clear, incredibly sweet river in the deep valley upstream. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Management Committee invested in the development of Blue Moon Valley in 2006, constructing six scenic silt-trapping dams. On August 10, 2024, a special Qixi Festival event themed "Love on Qixi, Affection for Jade Dragon" was held in Blue Moon Valley within the Lijiang Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area, aiming to inherit and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture and stimulate the modern vitality of traditional festivals.

The first part is "Impression of the Snow Mountain," and the second part is "Impression of the Ancient City." Directed by Zhang Yimou in collaboration with Wang Chaoge and Fan Yue, it took over a year and hundreds of revisions to complete. The original ecological large-scale live-action performance "Impression Lijiang" is held at Ganhaizi in the Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic Area, at an altitude of 3050 meters, making it one of the highest live-action performance venues in the world.
