Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain are awesome! Guide Mark was incredibly helpful — super friendly and knowledgeable. I took a sedan chair up the mountain (extra payment needed), which made the trip way easier. Had such a great time!

I booked a local tour through Ctrip. There was no shopping throughout the trip, and it was a private car. I was fortunate to meet our guide, Xiao Kang, who arranged the itinerary reasonably, making it comfortable and not tiring. He was professional and patiently explained everything in detail, allowing us to gain a deep understanding of the history and culture of Dujiangyan. We were also very lucky to see many adorable pandas eating and playing in Panda Valley. We also enjoyed Sichuan opera face-changing and blue tears performances, which brought the trip to a perfect end. I sincerely thank Guide Kang and the driver. Five stars all around!

Many thanks to our driver and guide, Mr. Li, for the relaxed itinerary, his enthusiastic explanations throughout, and for saving us from many things that would otherwise have cost extra. I was incredibly lucky to join a small group tour led by guide Xiao Wu. The pace was relaxed yet covered all the important points, making sightseeing very efficient. If we were traveling independently, we definitely wouldn't know where to begin, but with Xiao Wu, we could see everything we wanted to see in the most relaxed way! We were having fun the whole time, with no spending requirements. Xiao Wu was also very patient, waiting for us, and his commentary was excellent throughout. At the panda base, he knew the whereabouts and stories of each panda like the back of his hand, and honestly told us how long the wait would be to see the flowers, allowing us to choose what we wanted to see. The explanation of Dujiangyan was even more captivating. Guide Xiao Wu was very familiar with Dujiangyan and provided us with an engaging explanation, giving us a deeper understanding of how magnificent this engineering feat is. This travel experience was truly excellent, and I will definitely travel with Xiao Wu again if I want to travel in the future!

The guide system was particularly effective; we had a dedicated English-speaking guide whose passion and deep knowledge brought the history of the region to life. She didn't just show us ancient sites - she connected the ingenious principles of the 2,000-year-old irrigation system directly to its vital role in Sichuan today, which was fascinating. A crucial piece of advice: ensure you have WeChat installed. Our guide used a chat to align the hotel pickup and share route details. An absolutely first-class, educational, and enjoyable day.


