Important Notes
1. Since the departure time is at night and there is a 1-hour time difference between Surabaya and China, please set an alarm in advance and wait at the time and location notified in the driver group to avoid missing your ride.
2. The normal drive takes 3 hours. After arriving at the volcano, transfer to a jeep to reach the viewing platform and wait for sunrise. Sunrise times vary by season, typically around 5:00–5:30 AM, so patience is required.
3. Temperatures are lower in the mountains early in the morning. You can bring your own jacket and long pants, or rent a cotton coat at the attraction for an additional fee. Please keep your valuables safe.
Each passenger can bring 1 piece of baggage to be placed on the Surabaya round-trip vehicle. No baggage is allowed on the jeep.
5. After sunrise, head to the Sand Sea and proceed to the crater. You can walk approx. 1.8km or choose to ride a horse at your own expense (specific fees are quoted by local horse handlers and are not related to the travel agency).
6. Motorcycles are available in the attraction for round-trip transportation between multiple sunrise viewing platforms. This activity involves risks, so please choose carefully. Our agency is not responsible for any issues that may arise.
7. For travelers returning by plane on the same day: The earliest flight available for join-in tour bookings departs at 4 PM; for private tour bookings, the earliest flight departs at 3 PM. If flight times differ from those disclosed by our agency and result in missed flights, travelers will need to bear any associated costs.
