I rushed in early in the morning just as the park opened, and it was definitely the right decision! The morning is when the pandas are most active; I saw several happily munching on bamboo, their adorable antics instantly brightening the world. I was also lucky enough to see panda cubs, like tiny little rice balls, climbing up and down the wooden frames—so cute it melted my heart. The panda cubs in the Moon Nursery were the epitome of healing. I highly recommend taking the sightseeing bus; the base is huge, and saving your energy will allow you to see the pandas more effectively!

Don’t miss out on this tasty food tour when visiting Chengdu. I got to try so many delicious local dishes from the Sichuan cuisine. Mr. Wu was very knowledgeable and he tailored the evening perfectly by making sure only to take me to places that I had not already visited and chose dishes that suited my spicy level. If you are lucky you will get to try the fried glutinous balls made by a very sweet locally known old man from his food truck. I can highly recommend this tour👌🏻

Wonderfully paced tour with our professional guide Joy. She was able to engage my children and provided us with lots of interesting information and insights into life in Chengdu. We also had a delicious lunch based on her recommendations. Thank you for the amazing itinerary and sharing.
