This trip was quite different from my expectation, but the views and the actual nature was amazing. It does feel like a factory trip as there are traffic jams all the time, people waiting for very long times just to take a photo, and in summer, it must be quite horrific. Our driver was quite good, but generally, it seemed like he just wanted to finish the tour as soon as possible and get us on the first boat back. It was an extremely hot day and of course you must take your own food as the “included lunch” was almost inedible.★

Very knowledgeable guide and we learned a lot about Malaysia, its people, its religions and its culture! Caves had beautiful statues, and the big golden statue was truly show stopping. Be careful of the monkeys - don’t have any food or anything could resemble food out. Also if you are a woman, and want to climb the stairs/go into the temples, you must be covered up on top, and to the knee. But, you can purchase a scarf for around £5-6 if you forget.
