Missing the bus by a twist of fate led to a tense and exciting start, but thankfully I participated in the entire trip and it was a great memory. I communicated effortlessly with our Chinese-speaking guide, Gon, a very warm and responsible Korean young man. He was always eager to help, offering to take photos, and proactively recommending good restaurants and beautiful scenery. He even gave me lovely postcards. A fantastic day trip!★

🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate
1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
→ Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
→ Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
→ Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
→ Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
→ Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800).
→ Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!★

Foreign tourists looking for a day trip should definitely try this tour – it was a great experience! The scenery on Nami Island is breathtaking; I can't imagine how beautiful it will be in autumn! ✨ There's a bakery on the island with incredibly delicious corn bread! The island also has many small animals, such as rabbits, peacocks, mallards, and more…
