Very enjoyable, informative tour of beautiful Leeds. So many hidden gems to see and so much history packed in to a fab little tour. Bess also brought along vintage photos so we could visualise the history and development of the town centre. Well paced walk from the town hall through the cathedral and into the main shopping area and covered market followed by the corn exchange. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute with a lovely group of people.★

I joined The Bloody Tour of York on the spookiest night of all – Friday the 13th – and it was absolutely brilliant! Our guide, Mad Alice, was phenomenal. She brought the dark history of York to life with a perfect mix of theatrical flair, sharp wit, and chilling storytelling. From tales of plagues and executions to ghostly legends, every stop on the tour kept us captivated.
The route was well-paced, covering some of York’s most iconic (and haunted!) spots. Despite the eerie content, there was plenty of humour and historical insight, which made it entertaining and informative in equal measure.
Mad Alice’s charisma and passion made this tour more than just a walk—it felt like a mini immersive theatre experience. If you’re in York and even remotely curious about its sinister past, this tour is a must. And if you’re lucky enough to go on Friday the 13th... be prepared for an extra dose of atmosphere. Highly recommend!★

Absolutely loved this. Dorian had us captivated and in the palm of his hand. Fantastic tour guide, great sense of humour and not too dark and scary for our 5yo little boy. He said to call him Tim on the review, if we didn't enjoy it. But I most certainly did. Dorian is brilliant.
