Terracotta Warriors
The Terracotta Warriors are part of the mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Located in Lintong District, Xi'an, they were accidentally discovered by local farmers in 1974 and are considered one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century.
Thousands of life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots were buried to guard the emperor in the afterlife. Each figure is uniquely crafted with detailed facial expressions, hairstyles, and armor, reflecting the advanced craftsmanship and military structure of the Qin Dynasty.
The site includes three main pits, with Pit 1 being the largest and most impressive. In 1987, the Terracotta Army was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and remains one of China's top tourist attractions today.
Tang Dynasty Palace Dumpling Banquet
The Tang Dynasty Palace Dumpling Banquet is a signature cultural dining experience in Xi'an, combining traditional Chinese dumplings with a live Tang-style performance. Held at the Tang Dynasty Palace Theater (Tang Yue Gong / Tang Le Gong), the banquet features dozens of handcrafted dumplings in various shapes, colors, and flavors—each representing different symbols like wealth, luck, or animals.
After the meal, guests enjoy a Tang Dynasty music and dance show, which recreates the elegance and grandeur of royal court entertainment from over 1,300 years ago. It's one of the most popular evening activities in Xi'an, offering both culinary delight and cultural immersion in a single experience.
