Reviews: Hayao Miyazaki Anime Tour: Japan's Itoshima, Senjoji Temple, Totoro Forest Trail, and Meotoiwa Rocks Day Trip

This is a very relaxing day, recommended for the last or penultimate day of your Fukuoka trip. The first day can be spent walking around Fukuoka city. While this itinerary isn't as spectacular as some other itineraries, such as visiting the crater, it does allow you to visit six or seven locations and enjoy some very relaxing sights, especially the beach. Therefore, I recommend wearing light colors or contrasting colors for better photos. If you're well prepared, bring a swimsuit and trunks so you can enjoy some fun at the beach. I also want to commend our tour guide for his professionalism, providing detailed and comprehensive explanations of each location.

Our tour guide, An Caichan, provides vivid and comprehensive multilingual explanations, treating each tourist with enthusiasm and patience, especially caring for the elderly and children, and even helping to find the best angles for photos. She resolves any problems encountered during the trip promptly, and some guides have even helped retrieve lost items. The distances between attractions are moderate, with ample time spent at each site, and the route is well-designed without rushing. It's particularly suitable for families with elderly members and children, saving time and effort compared to planning the itinerary independently. The vehicles are clean and comfortable, and the driver, Xiao Ye, drives smoothly, allowing for proper rest even on long journeys. When encountering traffic jams, the guide flexibly adjusts the route, allowing you to enjoy the scenery along the way. The local restaurants and ice cream recommended by the guide are delicious, with no forced purchases and plenty of freedom to choose.

Departing from Fukuoka, thanks to the wonderful weather and the well-planned itinerary arranged by our tour guide, Mr. Wang, we enjoyed a day of tranquility and romance, first visiting mountains and then the sea, then paying homage to Buddha and finally gazing at the ocean. Later, we even bumped into someone else who was on duty with Mr. Wang at Mount Aso, demonstrating the excellent connections he has made with the local Chinese-owned tour company. Grateful for all the kind people and wonderful things I encountered in Kyushu.

Due to time constraints, we were unable to book a Chinese tour guide, so we opted for an English tour guide, which resulted in a truly memorable trip. He patiently explained the features and precautions along the way and the landscape, helped us take photos, and arranged the itinerary in a leisurely manner. He even added a special stop for us, the dam scene from "Attack on Titan" 🎬

I specifically booked a day trip because I wanted to go to Aso. But this trip was absolutely the best choice! Our guide, Takyeonji (Mira), took excellent care of us, making it a wonderful time and allowing us to take many amazing photos! Thank you~ Mount Aso was truly amazing, and the hot spring town was fantastic!! Even if you don't soak in the hot springs, you can use the foot baths for free, which was great.

Tour guide Shi is a very humorous guide. In particular, after we selected the itinerary, he contacted us quickly and provided multiple contact methods and detailed explanations, which made us feel at ease when planning the trip. During the tour, he also provided detailed explanations and interacted well with the group members. He is a highly recommended tour guide!
