Our driver, Ni, demonstrated bar-raising driving skill under severe weather at Tromso in January 2026. He is easy to talk to, willing to chat with the passengers and is extremely helpful when we want him to help take photos. He showed exceptional knowledge about the attractions on the island. If you come to Shanghai, you should definitely go see it! The amazing techniques can be quite nerve-wracking at times, but the satisfaction is high! The nearby department store also has everything you need, making it convenient. If you stay in the Xintiandi area, you can get to the venue at a low price (I took a direct bus for about 40 yen).★

The QR code and seat assignments were sent to WeChat two hours before the show, as stated in the description. This was a Christmas activity for our family of 5 as we celebrated in Tromso. It is a must-do experience for anyone visiting to enjoy this and learn about the Sami culture. It is a 45-minute journey from Tromso with an amazing view of the snow mountains. You are free to feed and take pictures with the reindeer for around the hour. The main hall is warm and has bread, tea, and hot chocolate. Lunch was bidos (reindeer stew) or vegetarian. Then, a sharing was done by John who is from northern Sami where he shared about customs, reindeers, gakti, etc. Weather is a huge factor in these trips and the tour bus could not return to us for pickup - with an hour’s delay, the crew was very apologetic and hardworking, arranging alternative transport on two smaller Mercedes vans. This experience was memorable and I highly recommend it for the exposure with lovely people!
