Where do I begin?! Chirag designed a private tour for us and oh my goodness, what a day! We got up at 5 am to get to the wholesale flower market and the fruit & vegetable markets.
Wow! A feast for the eyes! Sassoon Dock in the early morning is also a must-see. It's right up there with the flower, fruit & veg markets. Because it was a public holiday therefore not terribly busy on the trains, Chirag took us for a short train ride on a whim, just for something different. Dhobi Ghat, the open air laundry - another highlight! Chor Bizarre was an eye-opening experience because there is a sea of second-hand tools, car parts, appliances, plus a whole lot more. We visited the Dharavi slums last. Words cannot describe this part of Mumbai, and photos could never do justice to what all your senses experience. This tour is the best I've ever done so a big thank you to Chirag and also our driver, Pranav. What an amazing adventure!
