We did the Valpo in 1 Day: Authentic & Famous Semi-Private Walking Tour on December 29, 2025, and it was hands-down one of the best tours we’ve taken in Chile. Patatour truly delivers an authentic Valparaíso experience, and our guide Felipe made it exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about Valpo — its history, culture, art, politics, and daily life. Felipe shared fascinating stories you simply wouldn’t get on your own, while seamlessly navigating public transportation and the city’s famous hills and funiculars. The pace was perfect, the group felt intimate, and Felipe made sure everyone was comfortable, engaged, and having fun. He was also great at pointing out hidden gems, street art, local spots, and the best viewpoints for photos (which you’ll definitely want — this city is bursting with color and character!). This tour strikes the perfect balance between iconic landmarks and real local flavor, giving you a deeper understanding of Valparaíso beyond the postcard views. If you want a meaningful, well-organized, and memorable way to explore Valpo — this is it. Highly recommend Patatour and especially Felipe — we’d book again in a heartbeat! A delightful experience full of contrasts! Valparaíso surprises with its colorful streets, vibrant street art, and hills steeped in history and culture. The guide was very attentive and explained interesting facts about the city and its murals. Viña del Mar, on the other hand, enchants with its beaches, gardens, and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the Pacific views. The tour is well-organized, with enough time to explore, take photos, and enjoy each stop. A complete and unforgettable day showcasing the best of the Chilean coast!

Excellent tour of the city and the street art. Alex was very friendly and gave my wife and I a private tour. We went through a maze of narrow streets to see cool wall art and we rode a couple of unique funiculars. Not physically demanding.
