Thank you so much for a wonderful trip to these wonderful corners of the world, to these two very different towns. We also admired the mountain views along the way. Customer service was able to contact us in advance, and the day trip that included two classic attractions was excellent. The itinerary was well-planned, and the tour guide was enthusiastic, professional, and provided thorough explanations throughout.

A fantastic experience! Both attractions are well worth visiting. Those who enjoy history and culture shouldn't miss Boyana Cathedral; it's small, but the frescoes inside are fascinating (one depicts the Last Supper, predating Leonardo da Vinci's version, with a completely different composition). Our guide, Martin, was incredibly kind and his explanations were very entertaining, like listening to a stand-up comedy routine—he really knew how to keep everyone engaged. Also, if you buy bread outside the Rila Monastery, there are three types. The best is the Traditional (middle denomination, 1 local currency). The other two are enormous, weighing a pound (750 grams)! The day before the trip, you'll receive an email with the meeting time and guide's name; arriving 10 minutes early is usually sufficient.
