The guides were so friendly and went out of their way to provide an amazing experience for us! They even gave us jackets we could wear because we didn't have any. Excellent customer service! We loved roasting Marshmallows over the hot lava rocks. This was an u forgettable experience!

Loved, loved our time climbing this amazing active volcano! Alan our guide such a young but very knowledgeable gentleman. Alan was amazing at explaining everything that envolved our hike. If you de use to experience this phenomena, make sure to wear hiking shoes, mosquito spray, sunblock, and take plenty water & snacks.

Although it's the easiest to climb, it still presents a challenge. It's always a good idea to have your trekking pole handy. Water and snacks are also invaluable.

The meeting point was easy to find and I was picked up on schedule. The bus was full but comfortable. Fortunately, we stopped for a coffee and a pastry if desired. At the entrance, there were horses for rent as well as walking sticks. This was a relatively easy hike. However, the guides stopped many many many times. The views were beautiful and the lava landscape was very interesting. The guides were professional and friendly.

My teenage son and I loved this tour learning all about Pacaya Volcano. We opted for the natural uber: horse lol to go up the volcano. A must do and see. Would recommend.

Roberto taught me so many interesting things about history and was always attentive to our needs and preferences along the way; he even helped me take pictures! He's an excellent guide! Hobbitenango wasn't anything amazing; I would have preferred more time exploring Antigua!


