Salim picked us up at the public ferry terminal.
He drove us to the most beautiful spots on Fort Kochi, such as the Chinese Fishing Nets (which were working at the time), the Dutch Cemetery, Santa Cruz Cathedral, St. Francis Church, the Jain Temple, Mattancherry Palace, Jew Town, and the Paradesi Synagogue.
He provided professional explanations of the history of these sites.
The only downside is that he also stops at various shops and addresses to visit and perhaps pick up some bargains. This is standard practice with such tours, so you simply take it for granted.
Despite this, Salim provided a lighthearted chat about life in Fort Kochi and gave us an enjoyable tour.
We definitely recommend exploring the island with him.★

Our guide/driver was Saifil, he was absolutely brilliant. He tailored the Tuk Tuk tour to incorporate the things we wanted to include & exclude. The outdoor laundry, Mai Heritage House & elephants (yes elephants) were the highlights for us. Booked in advance with a cruise terminal pickup, so much easier on the day. I would highly recommend this Tuk Tuk tour, it was superb.★
